1. How long have you been a DJ and how many events have you done?                                    

Paradox Productions was established in January of 2006 The owner, Justin Babbitt, has been DJing since 1999. All of our DJ's have between 5 & 15 years of DJ experience.

2. Do you act as the "emcee" and make all of the announcements?

Yes. This is a skill that will vary greatly from one DJ to the next. You can rest assured that Paradox DJ's will use professional, tasteful and entertaining dialog, while keeping your event enjoyable, organized and progressive.

3. Can we see you (DJ) in-action?

Many of our DJ's perform a variety of events and venues and can usually arrange an opportunity for you to see us in-action.

4. Can we select our own music?

Absolutely. We encourage all of our clients to build a personal playlist on our music database. We will integrate your personal selections with our musical expertise to create a celebration that is individually unique to You.

5. When do we need to submit our personal playlist and event planning forms?

At least 30 days prior to your event date. This allows us ample time to prepare as we will spend 20-30 hours preparing for your event alone.

6. Do you charge for set-up and tear-down, and when will you arrive?

There is no charge for set-up or tear-down. We will arrive 1.5 hours before our contracted start time, although set-up is usually done in 30-40 minutes.

7. Do you charge for travel?

We do not charge for travel to locations within 39 miles of our office in Vancouver, WA. After this distance the fees are:

41-60 miles ~ $75  /  61-80 miles ~ $100  /  81-100 miles ~ $125  /  101-125 miles ~ 150  /  126-175 miles ~ $225

9. What if something happens and you can't make it to the event?

We are networked with the Oregon and SW Washington DJ Association, as well as other local DJ companies. Should circumstances prevent your contracted individual from performing at your event, we WILL cover you with another professional grade entertainer, as well as offer a discounted rate.

10. How much of a deposit is required to secure our date?

Wedding - 40% of total

Corporate - $0

Private - $100

School - $0
