~ DJ Rex ~
Rex is a well liked and respected DJ in the Portland nightlife and mobile circuit. He has spun records at the most popular nightclubs in Portland and entertained at special events for over 3 years. He is a talented mix DJ who is also a very skilled MC. Rex is extremely flexible and a joy for your guest to be around. He is light hearted and easy to work with, but his ambition, desire to succeed and his commitment to excellence are his most predominant personality traits.
Rex has proven his individual strengths as a black belt in Taekwondo, holding State Gold Medal Titles for 5 consecutive years in Oregon, Washington and Montana. He is also a graduate of the Florida Air Academy and was given major responsibilities as a Squadron/Wing Commander Cadet Colonel.

As Taiwanese-American, Rex was raised in San Jose California and is currently pursuing a science degree from Oregon State University. He started entertaining crowds at a tender age and was able to acquire the technical and improvisation skills needed to be able to motivate, influence and entertain crowds of all sizes.
Combining impressive hand magic, crowd interaction, turntable mixing, and a one-of-a-kind personality you can rest assure that Rex is one of the most comprehensive and well-rounded entertainers available.
Illusionist Rex Howard is a master at "Strolling Magic;" a performance art which allows smaller groups to directly interact with the magician, as well as socialize and engage each other. Everyone present will be involved in a sense of a bonded excitement and memorable fun for all. Unlike a stage performance, a strolling magician does not require a seated audience, which can be great for cocktail and/or social hours. Strolling magic can also be performed between individual tables.
A close-up magic show is a wonderful way to create a memorable experience for your guests. Rex can perform clean comedy acts that will have your guests laughing throughout the evening. Regardless of environment, Rex has an amazing ability to engage and baffle audiences with personalized, energetic and interactive presentations.
