Dan Moe started his career working for his family karaoke business
in 1996. He bought a mixer and started providing dance music in addition
to the karaoke event hosting services. He soon bought turntables, and in
2001 got his first weekly DJ gig at Diablo's Downtown Lounge where he then took an in-depth study into the art of rockin a crowd and moving a party.
At this same time Dan started a radio show on KWVA
(U of O campus radio) called "The Discositdown". The show's success later
inspired him to create a similar podcast based out of Portland, and you can
listen at discositdown.com.
Dan moved back up to Portland in 2004 and started DJing weddings, bar mitzvahs, and art openings.
"Weddings are my favorite event to DJ. I love the challenge of getting
everyone to come out onto the dance floor and have a good time." ~ Dan Moe
Dan works very hard to make your wedding day run smoothly and sound great. He not only meets with the bride and groom to talk about music, but even gets input from your bridesmaids and groomsmen of music that they would like to
hear. Additionally, Dan will pay close attention to your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc... This ensures a variety and style that ALL of your guests will appreciate.
